Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: July 2026

New Edge Concrete Contractor ("we," "us") is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build — both for our own site and for the people we serve.

The standard we follow

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the current version of the international standard most widely referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and similar laws. Conformance is an ongoing effort, not a one-time certificate. We believe this site substantially meets WCAG 2.2 AA as of the date above.

How we test

We check accessibility with a combination of automated and manual methods:

  • Automated testing with axe-core across every page template on the site.
  • Manual keyboard testing — tabbing through pages, the contact form, menus, and collapsible sections to confirm everything is operable without a mouse.
  • Manual checks of focus visibility, text reflow down to a 320-pixel-wide screen, tap-target sizes, color contrast, and heading structure.
  • Review of image alternative text and link wording for clarity and meaning.

Automated tools alone only catch part of what matters, so we pair them with these manual checks. No automated tool can fully replace testing with real assistive technology, and we treat this as continuing work.

What we work toward

Across the site, we aim to provide meaningful alternative text for images, full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator, a clear page structure (a single main landmark, a logical heading order, and labeled form fields), colors chosen to meet AA contrast, and respect for your system's "reduce motion" setting.

Where gaps can still appear

A few areas depend on third-party tools or are still being refined. The optional analytics consent banner is a small interactive layer that appears on your first visit; you can accept or decline it from the keyboard. If our contact form uses an anti-spam check, it is designed to verify you without a puzzle to solve, but its behavior can change as the vendor updates it.

If anything here blocks you, contact us and we'll help you get the same information or service another way.

Tell us about a barrier

If you run into a barrier on this site, please email [email protected] or call (510) 478-7007. We aim to respond within five business days, and we'll work with you to provide what you need through another channel if necessary.

About this statement

This reflects our good-faith effort to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and the accessibility expectations of the ADA. It is not a legal guarantee, and it is not a certification by any third party. We review this statement periodically and update it as the site and the standards evolve.
