New Edge Concrete Structural concrete work, built to last.
Foundations, retaining walls, ADU slabs, driveways and sidewalks across the Bay Area — poured to the drawings, finished clean, and handed off ready to build on.
The part of the build you can’t redo later.
Everything above the foundation can be changed. The foundation can’t — not without tearing out the house that’s sitting on it. That is the only work we take on, and it is why we would rather spend an extra day on layout and rebar than come back in five years to explain a crack.
New Edge is founder-owned and owner-operated. One founder has spent 30+ years in the field and runs every job from the site itself; the other came up through a decade of Bay Area construction and a business background in San Francisco. Homeowners, builders, and general contractors all call the same two people.

Projects across the Bay Area
Why builders and homeowners choose us
Poured to the engineer’s plans
Drilled piers, rebar cages, and anchor-bolt layout that match the structural drawings — not an approximation of them.
Framing-ready ADU slabs
Most ADU foundations run about two weeks from excavation to a slab your carpenters can build on.
Hard sites are the job
Steep hillsides, tight backyard access, traffic a few feet from the forms — constrained sites are our normal work, not a surprise.
Concrete is the whole business
Foundations and walls, ADU slabs, driveways, sidewalks and patios — we’re a concrete crew, not a general contractor with a mixer.
What our clients say

We’ve done retaining walls and foundations for new homes together. These projects have ranged from 10 yards of concrete to 400 yards of concrete. I can always count on them to show up when they say they are going to, communicate well with my team, do quality work, and to be very conscientious of the budget and schedule.

New Edge formed and poured the concrete foundation for our new ADU. The work was done per the engineering plans, and they did a great job keeping the jobsite clean. Jose clearly explained what was expected during the process. I’d recommend New Edge and plan to use them for future concrete work.

We’ve had New Edge under dozens of our ADU projects now. The reason we keep calling them: they build to the engineering drawings every time, and when they hand the slab over it’s square and level — my framers start the next morning. Jose and his crew run a tight ship. I look forward to our continued partnership.
